ABOUT ME
I was trained over twenty something years ago by the none other June Kenton. June and her husband Harold owned Rigby and Peller and at the time was the Queens Coursetiers. We were trained to fit by eye, never with a tape measure! I also had amazing managers with a vast wealth of knowledge in bra fitting, swimwear and bespoke lingerie. Whilst working there we used to call ourselves Boobologists! Hence the name The Boobologist!
I left from Rigby and Peller to start my family, and along the way we had a few businesses that worked around my family. But all the while my passion was in lingerie and wanting to help women know what their true size was. So once my kids had grown up I came back to the industry and was quite surprised to see that many stores had not evolved. A lot of companies were still fitting with a tape measure! So in 2018 I decided to write a book that women could use as a guide on how to fit themselves, called “The Perfect Fit”.
I have a passion and a desire to want to help women understand how bras should fit and feel. As most women seem to think that they need to compromise on how uncomfortable a bra should feel. I want to be able to help and educate as many women as possible. A lot of women know that they are in the wrong bra, but just don’t know how a bra should really fit and feel. This may sound ludicrous, but it’s true!
